Exceptional Parent Magazine recognized Heartspring teacher Travis Grover as a Model of Excellence in the September 2007 issue
Travis Grover knew he wanted to focus his career on helping children with special needs while attending the State University of New York at Brockport. After receiving his master’s degree in Adapted Physical Education, Travis relocated to Wichita, Kansas to administer the APE curriculum at the Heartspring School, a day and residential program serving children with multiple disabilities from across the nation. Travis has dedicated himself to ensure that all students receive an opportunity to thrive through recreation and leisure activities, APE and Special Olympics.
