Each summer for the last 10 years, we have recognized the contributions of outstanding educators in the field of special education. The Award Winners come to us from across the country and around the world. We have the opportunity to spend several days together to learn and to share. We look forward to these summer conferences because we are challenged by their enthusiasm, creativity, and energy. The 2008 Heartspring Award winners are a diverse and interesting group who come from as close as right here in Wichita to as far away as Belgium and South Africa. They are outstanding, and we enjoyed each and every one of them.
