International Partnerships

In 2003 the Heartspring Board of Trustees developed and approved a long range strategic plan. Today this continues to expand. International partnerships have been established through participation in Heartspring's Teacher Exchange Program, now called World Reach Training Solutions.

Developing international partnerships is not a new direction for Heartspring. Dr. Martin Palmer, our founder, and the Institute of Logopedics had a commitment and history of helping others across America and around the world. Dr. Palmer served as a consultant to the World Health Organization and was personally involved with programs in Australia, Norway, South Africa, Japan, India, and China, among many others. By 1960, the annual report of the Institute of Logopedics was distributed to professionals in 25 different countries. Our current goals are merely an extension of that legacy and the earlier mission of the Institute of Logopedics.
