Watch Megan's videoFive-year-old Megan spent the first year of her life in an orphanage in Kazakhstan. When she was 11 months old, she was adopted and came to Wichita. Her parents, Lonnie and Sherrill, knew she was behind developmentally but didn’t realize the extent of her disabilities. Megan was finally diagnosed with cerebral palsy and significant hearing loss. She began therapy at Heartspring in 2004. At first she was very fearful and apprehensive of anything new but with the love and support of her family and Heartspring therapists Megan began to blossom.
