Remy H. Blanchaert, Jr., M.D., D.D.S. is a board certified Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon for Oral and Maxiollofacial Surgery in Wichita. Prior to his practice in Wichita, Dr. Blanchaert was an attending physician in Kansas City, Missouri and Associate Professor of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Missouri - Kansas City Schools of Dentistry and Medicine. He joined the faculty of the University of Maryland in 1998 as assistant professor in the department of oral & maxillofacial surgery and director of maxillofacial microsurgery. He has lectured extensively in Europe and Latin America, participated in research and authored many articles and books pertaining to head and neck surgery. Dr. Blanchaert was recognized as one of the “Champions Against Oral Cancer”, for his work educating clinicians in Maryland how to conduct oral examinations for early cancer detection. Dr. Blanchaert finds his greatest professional satisfaction in providing improvements in functional outcome and quality of life for all of his patients.
