School - Psychology: Assessment, Diagnoses and Treatment

Heartspring psychologists meet with parents, school districts or other agencies to conduct a detailed functional assessment before each student’s arrival at Heartspring.  This interview assists in overall planning and to develop an initial Behavior Intervention Plan that can be in place when each student arrives. Once the student has transitioned into Heartspring and the initial plan is put in place, we continue to assess progress and facilitate changes in the initial Behavior Intervention Plan.  Our psychology staff may also perform formal psychological evaluations including diagnostic evaluations.
