This first hand experience is designed to assist professionals from other countries in understanding and working with children who have autism and other special needs. In addition, this program aims to train professionals in how to modify environments, address challenging behaviors, increase communication and daily living skills, create additional programs, and train others.
Module One: Two-weeks long - 77.5 hours of training
Key Areas Addressed in Module One:
Module Two: One-week long - up to 35 hours of training
(Prerequisite: Completion of Module One)
Key Areas Addressed in Module Two:
Module Three: On-going support and consultation through the use of technology like email, conference calls, and Skype.

*If you are employed at, or run, a not-for-profit, non-governmental organization and need to apply for financial aid/assistance (a scholarship), you will be required to fill out a SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION - this application is available upon request.
* For-profit organizations, or programs ran/supported by government agencies/ministries are not qualified to apply for financial aid/assistance.

I feel happy today going on heartspring website. My spirit is lifted as I now feel I can get support on my global campaign for awareness of autism in Nigeria. I hope heartspring will support our organisation in this campaign, to give individuals with autism a voice in the Nigerian society.
