This year, Spirit AeroSystems Good Neighbor Fund volunteers have embraced that partnership and touched a lot of lives at Heartspring. The Good Neighbor Fund is an employee-run giving program. Eight students sit peering up at a gentle woman with her hair pulled back in a bun. Volunteering for Heartspring program provides fulfillment A chance encounter last summer brought Tony Barkett to Heartspring as a volunteer for the Vocational Training Program at Heartspring School. The training program prepares students for future employment by completing donated tasks from local businesses. Cheryl O’Brien, program coordinator, bumped into a familiar face while making a delivery to Via Christi Saint Francis Hospital. Read more »
