Janelle holds a bachelor’s degree in applied behavioral science from the University of Kansas and a master’s degree in applied behavior analysis from Ball State University.
She began working at Heartspring in 2009 as an Individual Support Provider (ISP). Early on in her Heartspring career, she found a passion for the children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). She decided to continue her education and pursue her certification in ABA, as a Board Certified assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) and then eventually a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
Janelle loves the opportunity to have an impact on children and their families’ lives. Whether it’s helping them say their first words or learning to tie their shoes, she knows that every skill is huge for her clients. She believes her experience working one-on-one with children earlier in her career makes her a better leader and helps her in her current role now.
In her free time, Janelle enjoys relaxing and spending time with her daughter.
