Heartspring and Karg Art Glass will host 'Pumpkins for Pediatrics'

WICHITA, Kan. – Karg Art Glass will display and sell their 2013 glass pumpkin collection at Heartspring Pediatric Services on Friday, October 11 through Sunday, October 13. Karg Art Glass will donate thirty-percent of proceeds back to Heartspring’s Pediatric Services to help fund therapies for children with special needs.

More than 830 local children receive therapies at Heartspring each year. Most of these children require multiple kinds of therapies ranging from speech, physical, occupational and Applied Behavior Analysis to audiology services, including cochlear implant mapping.

Heartspring Pediatric Services hosts three events each year to help support these children: PedalFest, Pumpkins for Pediatrics and Lights on the Lake. Combined, these events will provide more than $200,000 worth of services.

Rollin Karg, owner of Karg Art Glass, said there will be a variety of pumpkin sizes and colors available for purchase at Pumpkins for Pediatrics ranging from $33 to $99.
