Heartspring’s Expanding Possibilities campus expansion announces three lead gifts
WICHITA, Kan.—Heartspring is excited to announce three lead gifts for the Expanding Possibilities campus expansion project including an anonymous $150,000 donation and a $100,000 donation from the Sunderland Foundation.
“We are also incredibly thankful for the generous support of the Slawson family in naming our Competitive Integrated Employment and Music Building,” Stacie Williamson, Heartspring Director of Development, said. “The organizations and individuals supporting the Expanding Possibilities campus expansion project are as visionary as those who made the move to our current campus possible. The need for the services Heartspring provides is rapidly increasing. We know the earlier a child receives therapies, the more successful they will be.”
Heartspring’s Expanding Possibilities campus expansion consists of the construction of a Pediatric Services and Autism Services addition and a new group home and a Competitive Integrated Employment and Music Building for the Heartspring Residential School. It also includes the renovation of the school cafeteria and current group homes.
“The project’s main goal is to eliminate waiting lists while reducing the time it takes for children to receive services,” David Stupay, Heartspring President and CEO, said. “We have grown tremendously over the last few years. Heartspring’s Autism Services program has more than doubled in the last two years, and the need still remains.”
