Give the Gift of Hope & Opportunity!

There are many ways to get involved with Heartspring. A charitable contribution is one opportunity to make a lasting difference. Gifts to Heartspring provide opportunities that support educational and clinical initiatives, programs and other priorities critical to the prosperity of Heartspring. Each gift serves as an endorsement of Heartspring and our mission to empower children on their path to greater independence. Not sure where you’d like your gift to go? Here’s some information to help you in your decision!

Heartspring focuses on the individual and makes individual plans to give our students their best chance for success. We use advanced technology like an iPod data collection app, SMARTBoards and tablets. Heartspring gives its students a wide variety of tools, which allow them to grow and learn. Heartspring also offers a unique employment-training curriculum to prepare students for life once they leave campus.

Heartspring has eight homes, including two off-campus homes for our students. In our homes, our students learn a variety of day-to-day skills like cooking or doing the laundry. Each student has his or her own bedroom. A home coordinator, home coordinator assistant, third-shift supervisor and paraeducators supervise the group homes.

Pediatric Services

Heartspring Pediatric Services offers a variety of therapies that give children a chance to lead more independent lives. It serves children ages birth to 21. The Pediatric Services Financial Assistance Fund allows Heartspring to offer life-changing services to children and families who might not be able to afford it otherwise.

Autism Services

The Community of Autism Resources and Education (CARE) program provides a wide variety of innovative services and resources for individuals, families, professionals and community members affected by those with a diagnosis of an Autism Spectrum Disorder and related symptoms. Building meaningful and enriching lives for each family member is the focus of services provided. Currently, CARE offers parent training and education, individual and family therapy, social skills programs, and community outreach and training, with plans to expand services throughout the state of Kansas and the region.

Heartspring offers its employees scholarships and financial assistance to advance their educations. A better educated staff means better services for the children Heartspring serves. An investment in our team is an investment in our children's futures.
