Pediatric Services’ speech-language pathologists are licensed professionals in working with children who have communication deficits. Therapists work together with parents, families, physicians, and other specialists, in order to improve outcomes and intervention success. They are trained to work with verbal and non-verbal children, using verbal language, sign language, and alternative and augmentative communication (AAC) systems. Our therapists also provide treatment for children who have difficulty eating and swallowing.
