Job Summary

The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for providing primary care to students with Autism and other disabilities. The RN is responsible for overseeing the delivery of comprehensive health care needs of residential Heartspring students and providing staff training as needed. The RN works as part of an interdisciplinary team that includes medical professionals, speech therapists, occupational therapists, physical therapists, board certified behavior analysts, teachers, and residential supervisors.

A Residential Group Home Direct Support Professional (DSP) works in the group home environment with students with developmental disabilities and severe behavior problems. DSPs work directly with students, sometimes in a one-to-one capacity, in order to promote independence in the areas of communication, self-help, social skills, and functional living skills. The Weekday 2nd Shift Direct Support Professional works Sunday 7:45 am - 10:45 pm, Monday - Wednesday 3:15pm - 10:45 pm.
