Heartspring Announces New President and CEO
WICHITA, KAN., Thursday, November 10, 2022 – After an extensive search, the Heartspring Board of Trustees has selected Dan Soliday as Heartspring’s new president/chief executive officer effective December 1, 2022.
Soliday has nearly 30 years of experience in different industries and focuses including gang intervention and youth development, addressing global poverty and HIV/AIDS, one-on-one mentoring for children and youth and providing services and independence for those with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
"I am grateful to the Heartspring board of directors for entrusting me with this opportunity to serve such an extraordinary organization and talented staff, along with the amazing Heartspring children, youth and their families," Soliday said.
Most recently, Soliday served as CEO of the Woodhaven Learning Center in Columbia, MO. The Woodhaven Learning Center is a non-profit organization that works to develop a neurodiverse community that embraces all abilities. The organization does this through independent supported living, community correction programs and employment assistance.

As a fourth-generation Kansan, Soliday has strong roots in the Wichita area. From 2010 to 2020, Dan served as the CEO of Kansas Big Brothers Big Sisters (BBBS). During his 10 years of service, he led the restructuring and cultural transformation of the statewide organization. Soliday also served on the Big Brothers Big Sisters’ national federation as a member of its governing body, the National Leadership Council (NLC) as chair of the NLC Organizational Sustainability Committee and was elected as the chair of BBBS’s Large Agency Alliance (LAA).
Additionally, Dan is a 2013 graduate of Leadership Kansas and served as the Sedgwick County program chair in 2015. He was heavily involved in the Wichita community, serving as a mentor, a member of the downtown Rotary Club, and on Team Justice - Sedgwick County’s Department of Corrections Juvenile Corrections Advisory Board (JCAB). He earned his MBA from The Henry W. Bloch School of Management at the University of Missouri Kansas City (UMKC).
