Values Ambassador Spotlight: Lizzi Dollard
G1 Home Coordinator Lizzi Dollard is October’s Values Ambassador. Hailey Teter nominated her because of the way she embodies the Heartspring value of leadership, not just in her own environment, but across campus as a whole.
What is an example of her going above and beyond?
When houses are without a supervisor, Lizzi is very quick to offer help however it may be needed. She will advocate for the staff, the students, and has even made her environment shorter on staff to allow another environment that may be struggling to have extra resources. She is always looking out for others and doing everything she can to make sure everyone has what they need.
What is she like to work with?
Lizzi is great to work with! She holds herself and her teams to high, yet achievable, standards. She is always available to answer any questions I may have, and if she doesn’t know the answer, she will make sure to point me in the direction she believes is best.
How much do you think her work impacts the children and families we serve?
Lizzi has taken on a few difficult caseloads and has done so with grace. She has helped transition many students to Heartspring over the past year and has changed the lives of those students as well as the lives of their families for the better. She advocates for her students’ needs and can think creatively outside the box when creating individualized plans for them.
